*BARRICADE PROJECT*
The Barricade project was well attended by the Lions of our District 3231-A3
Lion Habib Patel played the perfect host by providing his Bungalow lawn for the project
The 25 Barricades that were being donated were put on display and that too in a very systematic manner.
The function was presided over by Lion Rahul Rastogi, DC – Traffic & Road safety & organized by Satellite Coordinator Lion Shraddha More.
DG Lion Shashikant Modh, 1st VDG Lion Dr. Khawaja Mudassir, PDG Lion Prashant Patil, GST Chairperson Lion Preity Sodha, RC Lion Nitin Purkar, Executive Secretary Lion Nimesh Shah were the Guests.
Deputy commissioner of vasai police zone 2, Mr.Sanjay Kumar patil was special Guest
Officers from Manickpur police Station, Waliv police Station, Arnala Sagri police Station & Vasai goun police Station were present.
The Barricades were designed by Region Chairperson Lion Nitin Purkar and was well appreciated
Lion Shraddha More made an appeal that there were 2 more Barricades that were left to be donated and President of Lions Club of Dahisar & lions club of dindoshi promptly agreed to donate 2 more Barricades for the cause.
Since PDG Prashant Patil wasn’t present at the PDG honouring in Mahabaleshwar, the DG honoured him at the event. At the end of the event, all donors gathered together for a grand group photograph and then the DG, along with his team, got pictures clicked with the individual barricades
There is message writen on all barricades. “Give way to Ambulance ” DCP Mr.Sanjaykumar patil appreciated & Thanked to Lions Club for the barricades.
One barricade can do 4 policemen job. Overall a need based project.
