Executive Summary
- Problem
As a CSR associated with various NGOs, we saw a huge gap where approximately 10 million NGOs were present across the globe but we were aware of only a few. We saw that these NGOs didn’t have budgets to market so that more potential donors could reach them. We did our bit for making NGOs tech savvy but due to budget constraints it didn’t seem possible for all to sustain even if they started a website.
- Solution
In 2019 we identified the need for a platform dedicated for NGOs. The idea was that these NGOs could submit their service stories giving due credit to the donors. Service Journal then strived to enable NGOs & Corporates by offering Free articles featuring their service projects. This has led to the growth of traffic on Service Journal at the rate of 15% YOY with the backing of an average of 15000+ customers across 30 plus countries.
- Outcome
We at Service Journal aim to build on our momentum by targeting more NGOs to come onboard and share their stories. With the help of automation & various paid plugins which helped automate the process of sharing our published articles to our social media channels and finally summarized into our weekly newsletter which has crossed 5000 plus global subscribers.
