The Lions Club of Bombay Millennium and the Lions Club of Vasai Bharari, under Lions International District 3231 A3, successfully organised a Blood Donation Camp on 16 September 2026 at Khairpada, Waliv, Vasai West.
The camp received an encouraging response from local residents, Lions members, volunteers and well-wishers. Through their collective efforts, 52 bottles of blood were successfully collected, making the initiative a meaningful contribution towards saving lives and supporting patients in need.
Every bottle of donated blood can provide hope during medical emergencies, surgeries and critical treatments. The selfless participation of the blood donors demonstrated how individual acts of kindness can create a powerful impact within the community.
The camp was graced by Chief Guest Lion Sunil Lavti, Second Vice District Governor, along with Guests of Honour Lion Hanumant Bhosale and Lion Bharti Pawar. Their presence and encouragement added value to the project and motivated the participating donors and volunteers.
Special appreciation is extended to Project Coordinator Lion Shraddha More for coordinating the initiative. The presidents, secretaries, treasurers and members of both participating Lions Clubs worked together to ensure that the camp was conducted smoothly and successfully.
Lion Ramawatar Agarwal, DC: Blood Donation, congratulated both clubs, the project coordinator and the entire organising team for their dedicated efforts. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to every donor for stepping forward to support this lifesaving cause.
The successful collection of 52 bottles reflects the Lions’ continuing commitment to humanitarian service and community wellbeing.
