My home club, Lions Club of Willingdon Crescent Charitable Trust, District 3231A3 under the leadeeship of Club President Lion Roma Sinha, Club Secretary Lion Sheila Kalantri, Club Treasurer Lion Ameet Agarwal & Project Chairperson Lion Sarvajit Gulati, has entered into an MOU with ISKON to supply DAILY 100 meals from 4th January for Children & senior Citizens Daily at Malwani from 4th January 2021.
We inaugurated a Daily Meal Program for 100 plus children at Malwani Malad at an approximate cost of Rs. 5000/- daily. Program planned for giving some assistance to the distressed for a year.
Lion Shashikant Modh, District Governor, District 3231A3, and Lion Ananth Vaidyanathan, District Chairperson- Hunger graced the occasion.
Lion Ananth Vaidyanathan was moved by these children having food on foil plates and immediately ordered steel plates& spoons for all 100 children- so kind of him
Willingdon thanks him for his spontaneous gesture coinciding with his son’s birthday too. A Great spirit displayed Indeed and proud to say, Lets Proudly Serve.
